Ed Herrington died at his father's residence,k No. 116 North Fourteenth street, about 8 o'clock last night of consumption, from which he had been suffering for about a year. The deceased was in his twenty fifth year and was well known in this city. For a number of years he was employed by the Kipers as a harness maker. After they removed to Chicago he went with them, but failing health caused him to return home. The funeral will occur Monday afternoon from the German Lutheran church. The interment will be made in Mt. Vernon cemetery. The following gentlemen will act as pall bearers: Wm. Creitz, Philip Ackerman, Frank Clark, Ben Aneswald, John Berridge and Frank Coombs. The deceased was a member of the Sons of Veterans and the Saddlers' and Harness Maker's union.
