Paul Berkley Keen, Sr., 64, of the Lynn Springs section of Swords Creek, died
June 9 in a Richlands hospital.
Born May 8, 1943 in Swords Creek, he was a son of Josie Dye Keen of Roanoke and
the late Parson Keen.
A lifelong resident of the Swords Creek area, he attended Perkins Chapel and was
a disabled welder.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret
Keen.
Additional survivors: wife of 43 years, Linda Fay Keen; daughter and son-in-law,
Rhonda Barton and husband, Adam, of Swords Creek; sons, Tommy Keen and friend,
Jessica, and Paul Keen, Jr. and wife, Donna, all of Swords Creek; grandchildren,
Eugene Keen and wife, Lakin, Brittany Keen, Justin Shelton, Amanda Keen, Morgan
Keen, Chelsie Shelton, and Breanna Keen; great-grandson, Braxton Keen; sisters,
Jessie Ward of Swords Creek, Mayzelle Sykes, Carrie Dell Keen, Shirley Keen, and
Loretta Keen, all of Roanoke, Wilma Keen of South Carolina; brothers, Oris Keen
of Honaker, Donnie Keen of Shawsville, Wiley Keen and Parson Keen, Jr., both of
Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. June 13 in the Honaker Funeral Home
Chapel, Honaker, with Rev. Ellis Whited, Rev. Lee Dye, and Rev. Daniel
Richardson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Boyd Cemetery at Swords Creek.
Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime prior to the funeral hour.
