Her maiden name may have been Blake, but this is unsubstantiated. There is a Sarah Blake who was born on Apr 30,1661 to Joseph (Jasper?) and Deborah Blake, but this may or may not be the Sarah who eventually married John Gove.
Also, it is suggested that she was the widow of William Russell at the time of her marriage to John Gove in Torrey's New England Marriages to 1700, and this is repeated in the Gove Genealogy, p.57. A separare suggestion indicates she was first married to William Russell, second to Alexander Magoon, and finally to John Gove on Mar 10,1686 at Deerfield,New Hampshire.
Children: Mary Gove Heath, John Gove Jr, Hannah Gove Cass, Jonathan Gove, Sarah Gove, Abigail Gove Norton, and Sarah Gove Russell.
