ANNA TROWBRIDGE

ANDERSON- Longtime Carthage resident, Anna Abrams Trowbridge, 95, died Tuesday following a long illness. She made her home with a daughter Mrs. Frances Bush, Anderson.
Born November 12, 1888 in Jasper County, she was married to Elmer Best Trowbridge, who died in July 1959.he couple were longtime members of the First Christian Church of Carthage, and were instrumental in the formation of the Atlas Christian Church, which later became College Heights Christian Church.

Mrs. Trowbridge was a member of the Christian Church of Anderson and was a 50 year member of Eminence Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Carthage.

Surviving in addition to the daughter are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
