Cora Elizabeth Chapman Stautzenberger Osborne, was born in San Antonio, Texas to A.T. and Alma Chapman on March 22, 1929 and was called home by her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2009. Liz was a 1947 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, where she was a member of the Tennis and Rifle Teams. Liz later graduated from Cooke County College in Gainesville, Texas, where she earned honors in the Nursing Program. Liz was a licensed Registered Nurse, who worked in Orthopedics, was also an E.R. Nurse and finally retired as a Nurse with the Denton State School. When asked what her greatest accomplishment in life was, Liz was very proud to say it was her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands, Weldon "Odell" Stautzenberger and Harrell S. Osborne.
