Lois was born July 27, 1925 in Mannon, IL, the daughter of George Diehl and Mary Scott Diehl. She married Ira Adams on Sept. 19, 1946 in Aledo, IL.
She loved to make quilts, do needle work and gardening. Lois was employed by the former Glove Factory and Fortner Nursing Home, both in Aledo. She farmed with her husband, Ira, from 1946 to 1975.
Survivors (and spouses) include, her husband of 60 years, Ira; son, Gary Ira Adams, New Boston, IL; daughter, Elaine (Cliff) Anderson, Joy, IL; grandson, Cliff (Jennifer) Anderson Jr, Alexis; granddaughter, Mary Adams, Sherrard, IL and friend, Mark Slusser; great granddaughter Kira Nicole Anderson, Alexis; brother, Elmo (Ella Marie) Diehl, Aledo; sister-in-laws, Nora Diehl and Jean Diehl, both of Aledo, IL, Juanita Miller, Muscatine, IA; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Rex and Cheryl McIntire, Keithsburg, IL.
