Gary had worked for the Eagle Foods Warehouse in Milan for many years prior to retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 1971 Eliza, IL, the Gold Wind Association and the Patriot Guard. Gary was an avid tinkerer and enjoyed fixing anything from small engines to clocks. He was very much an outdoorsman and enjoyed a variety of activities such as woodworking, hunting, fishing, black powder shooting, playing cards and riding his motorcycle.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his daughter, Mary (Mark) Slusser of Milan, IL; two grandchildren, Brook Slusser and Kaitlyn Slusser, both at home; one sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Cliff Anderson, Sr. of Joy, IL; and one nephew and his wife, Cliff and Jennifer Anderson, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
