THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 14 Aug 1986. 'Robert Thomas Adams, Rt. 9, Paris, died Saturday, 9 Aug 1986, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Monday, 11 Aug, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. James Semple officiating. Gene Roden's Sons made burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Adams was born 22 Jul 1914, in Rockdale, a son of Robert Huel and Myrtle Moseley Adams. He married Nine Lee Green on 19 Dec 1937, in San Angelo. He was a Baptist and was owner of South Paris Diesel Truck Service. He was a deacon of First Baptist Church and a member of the pastor's Sunday school class. He was a member of Paris Masonic Lodge No. 27, AF and AM, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Janie R. Spiers of McNeill, Miss., a sister, Alice Moody, Channning; two brothers, Ben Adams of San Bernardino, Calif. and Roy Adams of San Angelo; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Hays in 1952; a daughter, Charlotte Lee Dagley and a grandchild, Sharla Jo Dagley.'
