Former Berne Woman Dies at Decatur; to Be Buried Here

Funeral services will be held at 2:45 p.m. Thursday at the Black Funeral Home in Decatur for Mrs. Minnie Frank Aeschliman, 91, of Decatur, a resident of Berne for many years. She died at 2 p.m. Monday at the home of her son, Albert, in Decatur, following an illness of two weeks. The Rev. William C. Feller of Decatur will officiate. Burial will be in the M. R. E. Cemetery west of Berne.

Mrs. Aeschliman was a member of the local Cross-Evangelical Reformed Church. The body (missing)

Mrs. Aeschliman was born southwest of Berne May 22, 1856. She was married to Eugene Aeschliman at Vera Cruz June 7, 1886. The couple lived in Berne for many years. Mr. Aeschliman conducted a store here. Her husband preceded in death in 1902. She had made her home with the son, Albert, for many years. He was the only surviving child. Another Son, Emil, was killed in a traffic accident a number of years ago.

Surviving in addition to the son are a brother, Adolph Frank of Bowerville, Minn.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One son and seven brothers and sisters are deceased.
