KENTON, Jan. 20 - Relatives here have received word of the death of Mrs. Mary Emmons, 78, who died in Valparaiso, Ind. She was a native of Goshen-tp, Hardin-co, born there on April 17, 1862. She had lived the greatest part of her life in this county.
Surviving are two daughters, Ethel Wertman, at whose home she died, and Rachel Willman of Arkansas; one son, Arthur Emmons of Alton, Ill.; one brother, Oscar Armstrong of Alger; one sister, Fannie Baker of near Kenton; several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews in this vicinity. Her husband, Curt Emmons, died a year ago.
Funeral arrangements are not complete.

KENTON, Jan. 23 - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Emmons, 78, for many years a resident of Hardin-co, were held yesterday at Valparaiso, Ind. The body arrived here today and burial was made in Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Emmons died in Valparaiso, Ind. She was born in Goshen-tp, Hardin-co, April 17, 1862.
