Wilhelm Eulberg was the son of German immigrants, Johann Adam Eulberg and 2nd wife, Katharina E. Neuroth, the 6th of 13 for his mother, and the 12th of 19 for his father. His half siblings are MaryAnn, Karl, Elisabeth, Catherine, Anna Margaret, and Susan Eulberg. His full siblings are John Charles, Christian H., Aloyusius, William Karl, Peter, Adam, Aloysius the 2nd, Maria K., Joseph, Heinrich (Henry), Herman Peter, and Edward. On Feb. 6, 1901, in Alton, Sioux, Iowa, he married Cecelia Ann Arens, the daughter of German immigrants also, Franz Arens and Justina M. Koob. They were both First Generation Americans. They were blessed with 7 children, Adelaide Cecelia, Eugene, Helen Mildred (my grandmother), Zella Mabel, William Cecil, Jean Aurlene, and Robert James Eulberg. In 1902 they settled on a farm outside of Medford, OK. The family moved to Ocean Beach, CA., for his health, but not a week after moving in and settling down, he died on Dec. 15, 1926. He was brought home to Medford, OK., for services and burial. His Obit: Blackwell Journal-Tribune 24 Dec 1926, Fri - P. 5 -- WILLIAM EUBERG - William Eulberg, born in Springbrook, Iowa, June 6, 1878. Died at Ocean Beach, CA., Dec. 15, 1926. When a small boy, the family moved to Alton, Iowa, where he grew to manhood. In 1901 he married Cecelia Ann Arens, and to this union was born seven children, six surviving him, and one having died in infancy. They are: Adelaide, Eugene (dec), Mrs. Tom Singleton, of Wichita, KS., Zella, William Jr., Jeanne Aurlene and Bobbie James. In 1902, he moved to a farm northwest of Medford, Oklahoma, where he has resided until November of this year, when the family moved to California for his health. He visited his brothers in the northern states last year when he went to the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minn., and had visited his relatives at Brawley and San Diego, CA., and had just gotten settled in their own home at Ocean Beach a week before he died. He has been in poor health for a number of years, and the last four years he had been seriously ill, suffering a paraletic stroke two years ago. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and children, eight brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.
