Alton P. Brandenburg, 64, of Baker Avenue, Mount Airy, died suddenly Thursday at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney.
He was born near Damascus, a son of the late William Bromwell and Minnie Watkins Brandenburg. He was a retired auto parts distributor.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Agnes Brandenburg; two sisters, Mrs. Leila Weller of Carlisle, Pa. and Mrs. Charles Layton of Florence; and two brothers, Dewey Brandenburg of Baltimore and Claude F. Brandenburg of Falls Church, Va.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Montgomery Methodist Cemetery.
