Lavon Barber Jackson Revell, 78, of Old Town passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at her home following a short illness. The lifelong Dixie County native was a homemaker and was a member of the Scrub Creek Baptist Church, Cross City, Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Revell of Old Town, four sons, Jimmy, Michael, Daryl and Carlton Jackson all of Old Town; three sisters, Truda Helms and Eleanor Gross of Old Town and Yada Hartman of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Jerry Barber of Old Town and C. A. Barber of Woodberry, GA; four daughters-in-law; Juanita, Carrie, Sissy and Miriam, eight grandchildren; Jessica, Kurt, Kjella, Jenny, Joe, Julia, Myles, Rebecca, Tera; and five great-grandchildred; Julianna, Kurtlan, Kolton, Rebecca and Tyler also survive.

Funeral services for Lavon Barber Jackson Revell will be conducted Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Scrub Creek Baptist Church, Cross City with Rev. John Horbelt and Rev. Archie Knowels officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday. Daniels Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. of Live Oak and Branford is in charge of all arrangements.
