HENDRIX, Daniel J. age 69 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born in London, Kentucky on August 4, 1940 the son of Corbett and Goldie (Williams) Hendrix. Daniel was employed at Cincinnati Die Cast for 45 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing guitar. On August 15, 1959 in Hamilton he married Bernice Lowe, and she preceded him in death in 2003. A loving father, grandfather, and brother, he is survived by a son, Daniel Lee Hendrix; four daughters, Kathy (William) Leugers, Debbie (Anthony) Maita, Rebecca (Brian) Dean, and Karen (Chris) French; three brothers, Wallace Hendrix, Truman Hendrix, and Jimmie Hendrix; two sisters, Marie Heitfield and Ruby Harris; 13 grandchildren, Steve (Amy) Smith, Lisa R. (Scott) Ritzie, Stacie (Paul) Reed, Crystal Hendrix, Karen Leugers, Eric Leugers, Samantha Maita, Matthew Maita, Austin French, Jana Dean, Nathan French, Chelsea French, and Ian Hendrix; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Elizabeth Beard, Beatrice Gilreath, and Katie Brown. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 9:00 AM with Tim Sorrell of Power Source Ministries officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. www.browndawson.com
