MRS. CORA JORDAN
AIKEN - Mrs. Cora Stroud Jordan, 81, of 101 Kenmount St., died at
her home Sunday. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Mrs. Jordan was a native of Horry County, where she spent most of
her life until recently when she came to Aiken to make her home with
her son. She was a member of Maple Baptist Church. Mrs. Jordan had
been in declining health for several years.
Surviving are: her husband, Lushion J. Jordan; one daughter, Mrs.
Vera Jones, Conway, two step-daughters, Mrs. N. P. Squires,
Charleston, Mrs. Ben Jordan, Fayetteville, N. C. One son, George E.
Jordan, Aiken; three sisters, Mrs. Narcie McDaniel of West Columbia,
Mrs. Agnes Humphries, Lumberton, N.C., Mrs. Delia Gordon, Dallas,
Texas, 32 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
