News From Alderson
Alderson, Dec 30. - Anna wife of Rufus Pitzer died on Wednesday morning of pneumonia at her home on the top of Wolf Creek mountain after a short sickness. Her husband is also reported to be in a serious condition from the same disease. Deceased was over 60 years of age.

Union, Jan 6. - Mrs Anna Pitzer, wife of Rufus Pitzer died, died at her home on Wolf Creek district, this county, on Wednesday morning, Dec 27, after a brief illness of pneumonia aged about 60 years. She was a Miss Murdock before marriage. She is survived by her husband, one son, M E Pitzer, and one daughter, Mrs H E Bondurant, all of Creamery; one brother, John E Murdock, and three sisters, Mrs D E Croy, Mrs Fannie Smith and Mrs Wm Sherwood all of this county. Mr Pitzer, who has just lost his good wife, is himself ill of pneumonia.
