Esther Fern Black, 75, of Fort Smith died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, in a local hospital.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral was in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl French of Van Buren; four sons, Tim and Mark Black, both of Fort Smith, Dennis and Paul Black, both of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Merlin E. Harney of Coronado, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were the children.
