DUCHESNE--Funeral will be conducted Friday at Strawberry for Royal Mezenen, 41, who died at a Salt Lake hospital Sunday of toxemia, resulting from an accidental gun-shot wound in the left leg. Interment will be in the Strawberry cemetery under the direction of the Roy A. Schenian Mortuary.
He was born December 12. 1900, at Daniels, Wasatch County, a son or John Fredrick and Anna Eliza Bancroft Mezenen. He came to Duchesne 26 years ago and bought a farm at Strawberry. He married Dora May Mott, who survives him.
Also surviving are five children. Lee, Rex, Gerraldean, Joan and Jack Mezenen; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Baum and Mrs. Elva Pace of Spanish Fork, Utah, and a brother, Albert Mezenen of Strawberry.
