MRS. ELIZABETH PRESTON
Mrs. Elizabeth Preston died at the home of her son, J. R. Preston, in Chariton, Sunday evening, April 12.
Mrs. Preston was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, November 18, 1815. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Crawford.
Her husband, Samuel Preston, died in 1866. In 1881, Mrs. Preston and family came to Lucas County where she has resided until her death. The cause of her death was heart disease.
The funeral took place from the Presbyterian church Tuesday. Rev. Atwood preaching the funeral sermon.
