Mrs. Christina Shaw died early last Thursday morning at the home of her son, Daniel Shaw, three miles southwest of the city.
Mrs. Shaw spent her entire life in this county. She was born in Madison township, October 26, 1823, a daughter of Daniel and Margaret Crawford. Her husband, William Shaw, with whom she was united many years ago, has been dead something over two years. They spent most of their married life in Center township. Mrs. Shaw had been a devoted member of the United Presbyterian church for many years.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the home of her son, Daniel, where she died. Rev. A. I. Young, pastor of the deceased, officiating. Interment was in the Lisbon cemetery.
