He was brought back to Bomartin where the body was laid to rest in Bomartin cemetery. Mr. Pierce was baptized when he was a mere lad, but was converted last October under the ministry of Marvin E. Fisher. Funeral services were held by Rev. L. M. Napper, pastor of the Methodist church, and assisted by Rev. Stevens of the Bomartin Baptist church and Rev. Grey of the Corn Baptist church. Pall Bearers were: D. A. Bowles, R. L. Witty, A. M. Huskinson, O. Parks, J. H. Thomas and Lester Martin. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved in this hour.
