Patricia Faye Kugler, 77, Inavale, died Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
No visitation or services will be held. There will be a private family interment at the Evergreen Cemetery in Superior at a later date.
The Simonson-Williams Funeral Home of Red Cloud is in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of Fred LaRue and Emma Jeanette (Madison) Kennon, she was born Feb. 10, 1926, at Red Oak, Iowa.
She married Howard W. Kugler on April 8, 1944, at Oakland, Calif.
She attended Western Union College in Indiana and worked for a number of years as a relief manager in Nebraska and Iowa. They lived in Denver, for several years, before moving to Inavale, where they raised and trained greyhounds. Her husband, Howard, died Jan. 9, 2004.
Surviving are two sons: Michael and Calvin, both of Inavale ; two daughters, Mrs. Vance Miller (Jennifer), Las Vegas, and Mrs. Paul Edris (Cindy), Sanford, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother, Maurice Kennon, Stanton, Iowa.
