Mr. Baune died Dec. 10 of a heart attack. He was 80.
He was born March 18, 1914, in Hot Springs, Mont., and came to Woodburn with his parents in 1925.
He married Juanita Becker on Dec. 30, 1939. They had dairy farms at Buxton and Tillamook until retiring in 1991 and moving to Salem.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Richard and Ronald, both of Hillsboro, and Dennis of Klamath Falls; daughters, Marjorie Kinns and Rita Gorman, both of Salem, Shirley Groshong of Lorton, Va., Janet Fleming of Beaverton and Susan VanderZanden of Gooding, Idaho; brothers, Walter of Portland and Florian of Sheridan; sisters, Hildegarde Hopfer and Clara Buyserie, both of St. Paul, and Dorothy Riley of Hillsboro; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment in Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn.
