Born Jan. 17, 1918, in Kilbourne , Ill., the son of Logan and Flora Mae Hibbets Anderson, he married Wanda Tarvin on July 19, 1952, in Bloomington, Ill. She survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Lynn (and Jim) White of Wyoming, Ill., Becky (and Bob) Crilly of Edelstein, Ill., Shirley Morgan of Peoria, Ill., and Linda (and Stu) Teran of Washington, Ill.; and two sons, W. Doyle Anderson of Wyoming, Ill., and Robert Anderson of Peoria, Ill.
His parents and an aunt who raised him preceded him in death.
He was a truck driver for Advanced Transportation in Bartonville for many years.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in Lawn Ridge Cemetery.
