Marie Geraldine "Geri" Brandt, 85, of Lincoln died at 4:55 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2000, at Bartmann Healthcare Center, rural Atlanta.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tom Gerdts officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brandt was a retired registered nurse. She had worked at Lincoln Development Center in Lincoln.
She was born May 29, 1914, at Monmouth, a daughter of Leroy and Ida (Bower) Radmacher. She married Stephen Carl Brandt Sr. March 10, 1939, in Lincoln. He died Aug. 8, 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen (and Barbara) Brandt Jr. of Lincoln and David (and Pam) Brandt of Murphysboro; one daughter, Nancy (and Patrick) Luehring of Elmhurst; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothea Ross of Cape Coral, Fla.; and one sister-in-law, Frances Radmacher of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one grandchild.
She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
