Betty A. (Johnson) Everland, 71, of Bridgeton, and formerly of Millville, died on Friday, June 25, 2010, after an extended illness at the South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Inpatient Center of Bridgeton.
Born in Mays Landing, she had been a lifelong area resident.
Prior to retirement, Betty had worked for Wheaton Industries as a clerk for 38 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, at home; son, Robert A. Johnson Jr. of Millville; daughters, Debbie Johnson and Sheila of West Berlin, Terry L. Burt and Dave Sr. of Millville, Robin L. Holman and Jerry of Bridgeton; sisters, Margie Consalo of Millville, Alice Paltjon of West Berlin, Lida Boobar of Millville and Loretta Johnson of Millville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville.
Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
