Joshua "Jr." SHAW was born 1d 3m 1736/1737 in Abington [yes p. 206 of Abington V.R. I p. 206 uses the dual date]. He married (1st) there Mary PRATT 25d 1m 1759 and had three children by her. Mary died in 1764 and he married (2nd) Naomi BATE 22d 11m 1764 also in Abington. Naomi bore Joshua three additional children in Abington and perhaps more after they moved to Plainfield.
