Mrs. Mattie Heath of Jackson Township , widow of the late R.J. Heath, died at her home Wednesday June 28 (1916). The funeral will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 o'clock from the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. T.H. Gallagher. Burial will take place in Eldora Cemetery . Mrs. Heath was born July 6, 1836. She leaves to mourn her demise two sisters and three brothers, Mrs, Ed O'Kane, Polo, IL, Mrs. William Sweet, Milledgeville , IL , Rev. F. R. McNamer, and Will C McNamer of Milledgeville. Mrs. Heath lived in this county for over forty years. Additional information: Mrs. Heath was the daughter of Hiram McNamer and Emeline Lockett. Martha (Mattie) was born in South Elkhorn, IL . She married Richard J. Heath in 1867. They had two sons, Fredrick born 1868 and Robert born in 1879. Her husband, Richard J Heath served in the 34th Illinois Infantry during the Civil War. Her Son Fredrick, served during the Spanish American War. Both her sons and husband preceded her in death.
