JENKINS
Wilford Byron Jenkins, 73, of Burnet, died February 4, 1992. Born on June 6, 1918, in Lake Victor, Jenkins was the son of Jewel Farquhar and Amos H. Jenkins. He was a member of the Lake Victor Church of Christ, a veteran of WWII, a member of Valley Lodge #175, and served with the Burnet Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years. He was a retired builder/contractor and did much work in Burnet County and elsewhere.
Services were held February 7 in the Edgar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Debo officiating. Interment followed at Oddfellows Cemetery under the direction of Edgar Funeral Home in Burnet.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Jenkins of Burnet; two sons,Dan Jenkins and Larry Jenkins of Burnet; and one grandson.
Note: Byron Jenkins married Willie Carmen Cox on June 6, 1941, in Burnet County, Texas.
