Catherine was the daughter of William H. Miller and Susan Johnson. Catherine married Abraham Stowe Hart Febuary , 7, 1876 in Whitley County, Kentucky .

Catherine "Kitt" "Kitty" Miller (2 Feb 1850 TN - 23 July 1926 KY) was the daughter of Elias and Sarah "Sadie" (Gray) Miller. Catherine "Kitt" "Kitty" Miller married James Lawson, Jr. (16 Dec 1842 - 6 Nov 1916) on December 10, 1872 in Campbell County, Tennessee. James and Catherine appeared in the 1880, 1900, and 1910 Census' together (Whitley County, KY). James died in 1916 and his wife Catherine was shown as widowed in the 1920 Census and had 3 of her 8 children living with her: Elias, David, and Sarah. Catherine "Kitty" Lawson is buried in the family's home cemetery (James Lawson Cemetery) per the DC above. Incidentally, Kitty's sister Martha Miller (1851-1929) married a different James "Franky" Lawson (1846-1920) who was the son of Isham and Nancy (Croley) Lawson. For the sake of clarity, Catherine (Miller) Hart Wells (1850-1900) is the daughter of William H. and Susan (Johnson) Miller, per page 1522 of the Peter Hart Book, and not the wife of James Lawson, Jr.
