Donald Lee Sollars, 77, St. Joseph, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at his home.
Donald was born October 14, 1932, in St. Joseph, the son of Warren and Edith (Beattie) Sollars.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the main office of the U.S. Postal Service in Kansas City, Mo.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dale and Frankie Sollars.
He enjoyed walking and exercising, which included walking to work to the main post office in Kansas City, Mo.
Survivors: sister, Marie Dyer (Don), Webb City, Mo.; brothers, Paul Sollars (Patty) and Raymond Sollars (Iris), all of Bossier City, La.; cousins: Barbara Roberts and Kim Moutray, both of St. Joseph; and Charlotte Thompson, Atchison, Kan.
Graveside Service and Inurnment: 12 p.m. Saturday, Memorial Park Cemetery.
Services under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
