Burial will be under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Monday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Marlow, Okla., and had lived in Crosby County for most of his life. He was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; two sons, Kenneth of Tyler and Fred of Crosbyton; a daughter, Patricia James of Woodbridge, VA; two brothers, Odell of Crosbyton and Cecil of Hillsboro; two sisters, Ola Faye Riley of Brownfield and Mary Deola Cole of New Mexico; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
