Alma Ahlman was an active member of many Pierce community organizations and definitely aided in the "mothering" of her widowed brother's (Paul Ahlman) young children--Hilda , Celia and Allen. My late father (Charles N. Ahlman-Norfolk) had warm and positive memories of his Aunt Alma--the great-aunt I did not get to meet due to her early death following post operative complications at a Norfolk hospital.
