July 15th.—The wife of Geo. Conkle, one of the oldest settlers of east Salt river, died very suddenly last Wednesday, 11th (sic), of Cholera Morbus. She attended the celebration on the 4th at Brashear, in her usual health. On the following Sunday she visited one of her sons, but complained of not feeling well, and while there grew gradually worse, so that it was with great difficulty that she reached home.
