MRS. H. J. CONKLE, DIES AT BRASHEAR
Mrs. Sis Conkle died at her home in Brashear Wednesday morning after on illness of a few weeks. She was preceded in death by her husband several years ago.
Eliza Alice Patterson was born in Rush County, Ind., Feb. 3, 1847, died in Brashear, Mo., April 30, 1919, aged 72 years, 2 months and 27 days. She was the daughter of Dudley Patterson and was united in marriage to Henry Jason Conkle by Rev. William Bums.
To this union were born Homer lee Conkle, July 6, 1884, died March 17, 1892; and Sophrona Conkle, Aug. 7, 1868, died Dec. 7, 1869.
She leaves two brothers, and one sister, Joshua, of Quincy, Marcellus of Hannibal, Mo., Mrs. Don Davidson, of Washington. One grandchild, Nellie Lee Crawford, and three great-grand children, Homer, Harold and Myron Crawford.
The funeral was held from the U. B. Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. L. Kapp officiating. Burial in the Brashear cemetery beside her husband. — Brashear News.
