Erma A. Caslow
GLEN ROCK – Erma A. (Senft) Caslow, 74, of Glen Rock RD 2, died Monday evening at her home. She was the wife of Roy H. Caslow. The couple observed their 52nd wedding anniversary June 4, 1990.
The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Brodbecks RD 1. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Caslow was born in Codorus Township. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Effie (Krebs) Senft.
She was an active member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, Lutheran Congregation, the Class No. 4 of it's Sunday school, the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, the Ladies Auxiliary of Jefferson Fire Company, the Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village Auxiliary and the Jefferson Chapter No. 3699 of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Mrs. Caslow also is survived by a son, Jerry L. Caslow of Glen Rock RD 2; two daughters, Ruth Ann Engel and Barbara C. Sanbower, both of Walkersville, Md.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two brothers, William Senft of Codorus, and Rev. Dr. Kenneth C. Senft of Gettysburg; and four sisters, Catherine Stauffer of Codorus, Salome Dill of Shrewsbury, Bernice Stauffer of Hanover, and Lucreta Rebert of Spring Grove RD 2.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver assisted by her brother, the Rev. Dr. Kenneth C. Senft.
