Mrs. Pearl Latham Boyd, 87, of Converse, died Oct. 7, in a local nursing home, following a long illness.
She was a native of Converse, and a member of the San Patricio Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Oct 8, in the Drewett Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Jack E. Byrd officiated. Burial was in the Cassel Cemetery near Converse.
Survivors include seven sons, Nobel Boyd of Natchez, Miss., Tom Boyd of Stephens, Ark., Vance Boyd of Oil city, Willie B. Boyd, and W. T. Boyd Jr., both of Converse, and Troy Boyd of Mansfield; four daughters, Mrs. Bara Farrington of Plain Dealing, Mrs. Alma Speer of
Vivian, Mrs. Ruthie Whitehurst of Converse, and Mrs. Betty Miller of Lexington, S. C.
