Elizabeth J. (Woolley) Sampson born August 8, 1922 died peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2001 in Phoenix, AZ. She was raised in Oswego, IL and has spent the past 12 years in Florence, AZ.
    She loved to travel and experienced life to the fullest. She loved to play bridge. She touched many lives during the time she was with us. She was always ready to travel to Oswego for family weddings, graduations, class reunions and gatherings.
    She is survived by three children, Donald Sampson, Diane (Bruce) Korak both of AZ, Denise (Denis) Ament of TX; two grandchildren Robert, Karen; three great grandsons; two sisters Patricia Haben of IL, Joann (Robert) Walper of FL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Sampson in 1992, son Dennis and parents Wilbur and Leslie Woolley.
    Memorial services were held in Florence, AZ on Friday, March 2, 2001. Graveside services for the cremains of Elizabeth and Donald Sampson will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the Oswego Township Cemetery in Oswego, IL. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Valley at 1510 E. Flower St. in Phoenix, AZ 85014.
