Grace “Agnes” (Baugher) Louderback, 95, of Elkton, passed away November 17, 2014 at Montvue Nursing Home in Luray.
Agnes was born in Elkton on October 4, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Nancy Ann (Shifflett) and Samuel Wilson Baugher.
She was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church in Shenandoah, and graduated from Elkton High School.
She was united in marriage on November 30, 1940 , to Claude Owen Louderback, who preceded her in death. Agnes is survived by two daughters, Linda and Jo Louderback of Elkton, a host of nieces, nephews, and her cat, Honey Bunch. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Claude Owen (Zero) Louderback, Jr; sisters and brothers-in-law: Florence Wyant, Virginia Ridenour (Harry), Nora Baugher (Lurty), Mabel House (Robert), and brothers and sisters-in-law: Edward Baugher (Dorothy), Russell Baugher (Geneva), Herbert Baugher, and Randolph Baugher (Marie).
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. November 20, 2014 at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
The Rev. Stephen Creech will conduct a memorial service on 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Christ United Methodist Church in Shenandoah. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 501 Senior Avenue, Shenandoah, Virginia 22849.
