Phyllis Morin Bland, my childhood neighbor in Winslow, Navajo Co., Arizona. She was married to Robert Bland and had two girls, Gail who is deceased and Debbie. It seemed like they had everything starting with really good looks. But that would just be a start with Phyllis for she was a very nice person and extremely talented woman. There was nothing she did not do with a sewing machine, most of the time with my mother at her side. Very giving also. She made my wedding cake in 1962 with fresh flowers on it. Outstanding! Her father made a built-in China cabnet for our house and did some really fancy woodwork also. He also finished the wood floors in the house to profection. Phyliss was a homemaker and did not work out of the home. Gail was my age and we went to school in Winslow, both girls did. Her sister was Debbie.
