--She married Walter E. Kluttz on Dec. 23, 1907 in Cabarrus County, where they lived through 1930. By 1935 they had moved to Mecklenburg County. The couple had 13 children: 1. Anna Irene Kluttz, 2. William Lewis Kluttz,3. Marvin Pemberton Klutz, 4. Walter Eugene Kluttz Jr. (died at one year), 5. David Henry Klutz, 6. Laura Virginia Kluttz, 7. Robert Caldwell Klutz, 8. Frank Jackson Klutz, 9. Infant son, 10. James Edward Klutz, 11. Martha Janie Klutz, 12. Myrtie Ruth Kluttz, and 13. Infant Son Kluttz.
--Note the variance in spelling Kluttz/Klutz by their children. Descendant Tommy Conder states the difference was "their individual views on a difference (they said) between how my great grandfather spelled his name and how HIS brothers spelled it".
