DENVER — Connie Atencio, 91. passed away on June 14, 2010. She was born October 1, 1918. Connie was preceded in death by son, Thomas Francis Atencio; son-in-law, Moses L. Garcia.
She is survived by daughter, Bonnie C. Garcia; sister, Erma Gonzales; grandchildren, Donovan, Travis Garcia, Marcelo, Adrina Atencio; great-grandchildren, Zayne, Diego Garcia and Brandon Atencio.
Connie was retired from the Colorado State Veteran's Center in Monte Vista, Colo.
Vigil Rosary, 7 p.m. Thursday, June 17. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Friday, June 18 all services at St. Joseph's Church. Interment at San Luis Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
