Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Thursday, April 8, 1951: "Patrick L. Cullen, 62, of Baltimore, died yesterday afternoon in Allegany Hospital where he was admitted March 30.

For the past two weeks he had been visiting a sister, Mrs. John M. Bryson. Born in Frostburg, Mr. Cullen had lived in Baltimore and Hyattsvllle 14 years. A brother, Brian M. Cullen, 48, Frostburg, died February 26.Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Thursday, April 8, 1951: "Patrick L. Cullen, 62, of 4269 Wilkins Avenue, Baltimore, died yesterday afternoon in Allegany Hospital where he was admitted March 30. For the past two weeks he had been visiting a sister, Mrs. John M. Bryson, 314 Columbia Street. Born in Frostburg, Mr. Cullen had lived in Baltimore and Hyattsvllle 14 years. A brother, Brian M. Cullen, 48, Frostburg, died February 26. Survivors Include his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth (McKenna) Cullen; four other sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Morgan and Mrs. Veronica Narey, Frostburg; Miss Genevieve Cullen, this city, and Mrs. Margaret Meyers, Hanover, Pa., and a brother, Timothy A. Cullen, Washington. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home, Frostburg.

Cullen, 62, Baltimore, who died Saturday at Allegany Hospital, Cumberland, was celebrated yesterday in St. Michael's Catholic Church here by the Very Rev. J. Lawrence Kilkenny, pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Cumberland. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Honor guards included William Eberly, Frank Perretti, Bernard Byrnes, Jr., Bernard Byrnes,. Sr., James Jackson, Frank Markey, James Mullen, James Conway, Jennings Shertzer and Francis Rooney, members of Frostburg Council No. 1442, Knights of Columbus. Military honors were accorded by Farrady Post No. 24, American Legion, with Frank T. Powers, Adam Kalbaugh. Charles Cole, Olin Spiker, James Bennett. Robert Powers, Earl R. Miller and Paul Stewart officiating. Pallbearers were Omar Rafferty, James Perdew. Edward and James Woods, Stanislaus Rafferty and Charles Welsh of John R. Fairgrieve Post No. 2462, Veterans of Foreign Wars."
