Lawrence Kilkenny, pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Cumberland. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Honor guards included William Eberly, Frank Perretti, Bernard Byrnes, Jr., Bernard Byrnes,. Sr., James Jackson, Frank Markey, James Mullen, James Conway, Jennings Shertzer and Francis Rooney, members of Frostburg Council No. 1442, Knights of Columbus. Military honors were accorded by Farrady Post No. 24, American Legion, with Frank T. Powers, Adam Kalbaugh. Charles Cole, Olin Spiker, James Bennett. Robert Powers, Earl R. Miller and Paul Stewart officiating. Pallbearers were Omar Rafferty, James Perdew. Edward and James Woods, Stanislaus Rafferty and Charles Welsh of John R. Fairgrieve Post No. 2462, Veterans of Foreign Wars."
