Funeral services for Freda Tollett Selph of Lampasas will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 16, 2003, at Briggs-Gamel Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Reid Schaub to officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Selph died Dec. 12 in a local nursing home at the age of 93.
Born March 30, 1910 in Rufe, Okla., she married Virgil Selph in Hugo, Okla., on Nov. 7, 1926.
Formerly of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Selph had lived in Lampasas 17 years and attended the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joy Selph of Grapevine; one daughter, Shirley Murphy of Austin; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 15, 1986, by two children -- Vera May Selph and Herbert Selph -- and by one grandchild, as well as by four sisters and one brother.
