'J.B. Embry, 34, of 1345 W. Franklin died Oct. 25 in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.W. Wallace, pastor of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Restlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Embry was born in Paris on Sept. 17, 1946, son of Oliver and Lena Mae Bills Embry. He was a graduate of the old Gibbons High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his parents; two sons, Trent Embry and Swan Embry; one daughter, Sandra Embry, and four sisters, Mary M. Embry, Mary J. Embry, Dora Embry and Patricia Ann Embry, of the home.'
