Comanche (RNS) - Will E. Kerley, 94, of Comanche died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Comanche County Hospital. Services are pending with Comanche Funeral Home. Born July 18, 1882 at Comanche County, he was a retired watchman. He married Dolly Powell on Oct. 5, 1901 at Comanche. She died Nov. 30, 1961. He had lived in Comanche 47 years. Survivors include two sons, Elmer N. Kerley of Comanche and Claborn Kerley of Palacios, Tex.; seven daughters, Essie Haynes of Costa Mesa, Calif., Mina Freeman of Temecula, Calif., Lena Mae Thompson of Salinas, Calif., Jane Rex of Albuquerque, N.M., Marcelle Carlisle of Deer Park, Wash., Lorene Wilson of Comanche and Ozella Wilson of Comanche; a brother, Oner of Grand Prairie; four sisters, Mamie Dennis and Mattie Nelms, both of Comanche, Ollie Johnson of De Leon and Annie Pilgreen of Tye; 21 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
