Burnham Maxwell. 78 years of age,
died at her home on Ithaca street
Sunday morning of congestion of the
lungs. She is survived by a sister,
Miss Cynthia Finch, and two brothers,
Wilbur and Amasa Finch of this
place. The funeral was held this afternoon
at 8 o'clock. Rev. Peter R
Rosa officiated.

Mrs Lydia Burnham Maxwell
Mrs. Lydia Burnham Maxwell died at her home on Ithaca street, early Sunday morning, August 9, 1908, aged seventy-three years. She had been ill for two months or more, but had steadily improved until she was feeling better than any time since her illness.
The deceased was the daughter of Phillip and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Finch, pioneer residents of this vicinity, but most of her life since her girlhood had been spent at Indianapolis, Ind., and Cleveland, Ohio. She was twice married, her first husband being Levi S. Burnham, and her second, Dr. Adam W. Maxwell, both of Cleveland, Ohio. About four years ago she returned here to pass the remainder of her life amid the scenes of her childhood. She is survived by one sister, Cynthia Finch, two brothers, Amasa and Wilbur Finch, a niece, Mary E. Finch, a nephew, George A. Smith, all of this place, Phillip F. Finch of Colorado Springs, Col., is also a nephew. Mrs. Maxwell had always led a most active life and before coming here was a member of the First Congregational Church of Collinwood, Ohio, the Collinwood W.C.T.U., the Collinwood Research Club, and the N. & L Literary Club of Cleveland. Since taking up her last residence here, she has been a regular attendant at the First Presbyterian Church, and was a member of Tioga Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The funeral was held at her late home. Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. P. R. Ross, D. D. Officiating. Interment at Forest Home Cemetery.
