ALLEN J GRAVES: Platteville; 95, passed away Wednesday (4-8) at Platteville nursing home following a long illness. MrGraves was born on a farm in HarrisonTwp 24 Sep 1868. He atten-ded rural schools & grew to manhood at home. He was united in marriage 22 Feb 1894, to the former Emma Mae Nickerson. They farmed in the Platteville vicinity all of their married life until retirement in 1938. MrsGraves died in 1944. Survivors include sons: Lester & Lavern-Plattville; 5 daus: MrsArthur Miller-Platteville; MrsWalt Wienbergen-Spooner; MrsFred Streit-Oxford MI; MrsFred Morrison & MrsMarian Kehl-both Rockford IL; 13 grandchildren & 33 gr grandchildren. Services were held Saturday (4-11) at Karrmann Funeral Home. RevWW Vasey-Platteville Primitive Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cem.
