Mr. Mullins was born Nov. 3, 1891, in Atchison, the son of Thomas R. and Hanora Baker Mullins. He attended Atchsion County schools. Mr. Mullins served in the Army during World War I.
He married Mary D. Foley May 17, 1939 at St. Mary's Church in Purcell, Ks. They farmed in the Purcell & Bendena areas. After Mr. Mullins retired, the couple made their home at 120 N. 16th St. in Atchison, KS.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church & the American Legion.
Surviors include his wife, Mary Mullins of Medicalodge; 2 brothers, James & Raymond both of Atchison; 3 sisters, Ruth Mullins of Portland, Ore., Agnes Mullins of Kansas City, MO., & Mrs. Ethel Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Frid. at the Harouff-Arensberg Chapel, the Rev. Placidus Kieffer, OSB, celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
