Funeral for Mrs. Barnard Held Thursday
Funeral Services for Mrs. Nellie Barnard age 90 years of the Shave community who died Wednesday was held Thursday afternoon 3 o'clock at the Cedar Grove Church. Rev. Olen Daggs of Sugar Grove and Rev. Leo Smith of Caulkesville officiated. Burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery was directed by the Cox Funeral Home. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. M.M. Whitman of Paris, Mrs. Dollie Whitman of Ratcliff, and Miss Bonnie Barnard of the Shaver community; two sons, Fred Barnard of Paris, and Frank Barnard of Littlefield Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Burleson of Menlo Park, California, Mrs Ada Epperson of Portland Oregon, and Mrs. Maud Watkins of Puyallup Washington; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
